Tofu Scramble



Tofu Scramble[csbtns]

If you don’t eat eggs or looking for something different try this tofu scramble. Tofu is full of protein and is a great substitute for meat for vegetarians.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (mashed) firm tofu
  • 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon tumeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 or 2 slices gluten free bread (we love Gluten Free Prescient)
  • Chopped cherry tomatoes
  • 3 sprigs of chives (chopped)
  • 100g shaved turkey breast (optional)

How To Make

  • Set fry pan over a medium-low heat
  • Add olive oil
  • Add tofu and tomatoes and stir as you warm through in the pan
  • Add spices/seasoning
  • Top with chives
  • Serve on toasted gluten free bread and a side of turkey.
